Mark Horne has an intriguing post concerning the nature of faith and justification. I think Horne is right. Maybe I misunderstand the views of N.T. Wright, but this seems to be the implication of Wright's reading of Paul. Justification is of God, not our faith. Yes, the two are intricately related, but our justification is a result of God's grace--not a result of our faith. To put the emphasis on faith rather than grace is to exalt man and belittle our gracious God.
